The Humboldt Junior Chamber, also known as the Humboldt Jaycees is a non-profit organization for young people aged 18 to 39. We have been active in the growth and development of our community since 1958. Fun and fellowship are emphasized while we work in a variety of areas to create positive change in ourselves, our community, and the world we live in.
We are a fully affiliated chapter of the
JCI Canada (CJC), a national organization with over 40 chapters from coast to coast. The country is divided into five regions, the Humboldt Jaycees belonging to the Western Region along with chapters in Calgary, Edmonton and
Humboldt.
The CJC is part of AREA C of Junior Chamber International (JCI). AREA C encompasses all of North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean. JCI has more than 400,000 members in over 100 countries worldwide.
Our Basic Values
The principles of Junior Chamber follow the tenants of the Jaycee Creed,
written in 1946.
